Getting to know Amanda!

Why did you get into real estate? I got into real estate because I’ve always wanted to help people. I was always surrounded by contractors growing up and seeing the before and after of houses sparked my interest in properties. To see people’s faces when they know they’ve found the one is like picking your wedding dress, and I love being part of that.

Why do you love being a REALTOR®? I love meeting new people, everyone has a story. Whether it’s finding someone their forever home, working with sellers throughout the various stages of their lives, and working with them to help make those transitions as smooth as possible. Taking the time to understand what people need and helping them write the next part of their story is what makes being a REALTOR® so great.

Why do you love Pictou County? I love living in Pictou County and call it home because of the
compassionate people and the feeling of community.

If you could give one piece of real estate advice to everyone, what would it be? One piece of advice would be to interview your agent to make sure they are right for you, understand what you are signing, and don’t be afraid to ask questions.

What do you believe attracts people to live in our area? The affordability of properties is a big factor in drawing people to our area. But also, the feeling of community and being at home here.
