Charlie Parker is a native Pictonian having been born and raised on the Family farm at Durham, along the West River Valley.

He is a graduate of West Pictou District High at Lyons Brook and also Nova Scotia Teachers College and Acadia University. He has 8 years experience in real estate sales and is well known as a small business owner, having operated garden centers and farm markets for a number of years. Charlie has been involved in his community, both as a Rotartian and a church elder. His greatest enjoyment is serving people as demonstrated by more than twenty years as an elected representative at both the municipal and provincial levels. This gives him helpful contacts, both in the community and into government.

Married to Marilyn, they live at Loch Broom, Pictou County. They have 2 children and 2 grand children.

Charlie enjoys outdoor activities, including gardening, bird watching and hiking and is an avid curler. He is committed to providing first class, friendly service to all his clients and if necessary to go the extra mile – “Here to Help”.
